Robert Half are pleased to be seeking a Financial Controller for a growing SME based in Fareham. Reporting into the Managing Director, the successful candidate will enjoy a varied position as number one in Finance, and will be responsible for the following:

  • Produce monthly management accounts
  • Maintain cashflow and bank reconciliations
  • Budget reporting
  • Payroll control
  • Statutory annual returns
  • General ledger control
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • VAT statutory returns
  • Year End accounts
  • Maintain fixed asset register
  • Control and supervise Personnel Administration
  • Pension administration
  • Daily Sales Invoicing, payment of suppliers, and credit control

Your Profile

The successful candidate will display the following core competencies:

  • Qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • Experience in a manufacturing business
  • Comfortable with a varied, hands-on role
  • Able to business partner with non-finance areas of the organisation to improve forecasting
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables & VLookups

Salary & Benefits

£40-55k, plus benefits
