Sales Analyst and Forecaster | London

Since we released our iconic P40 amplifier in 1968 we have pursued one simple objective: to produce audio equipment that faithfully creates a pure and natural sound. Whilst our contemporaries in America like heavier bass in their playback and often in Asia brands emphasise a mid-range mix to carry vocals, we at Cambridge Audio are sold on the unfiltered, unadulterated ‘British Sound’.

We are currently looking for a technically qualified and dynamic Sales Analyst reporting to the Financial Controller

We're looking for a number cruncher and music lover to join the team in our London office.

We are on a mission to become the most talked about hi-fi company in the world and we need someone to help us analyse our sales, prepare demand plans to ensure we have the right stock in the right location for our customers all over the world.

We are not necessarily looking for degrees or qualifications, but a black belt in excel and the ability to review and analyse data are both a must. This person will help us ensure the smooth running of sales and stock to Cambridge Audio customers all around the world.

Experience in the hi-fi/AV industry is not essential as training will be provided but a proven track record in Sales Analysis / Demand Planning / Category reporting is essential.

Key responsibilities

·Prepare detailed 24 month Sales Budget

·Prepare & administer monthly sales demand forecast for 24 months forward

·Prepare month on month change analysis of sales demand forecast

·Participate in Sales, Production and Inventory meetings

·Generate 24 month cash flow sales plan

·Prepare month on month change analysis of cash flow sales plan

·Format & Update data from weekly raw data reports from key customers

·Analyse key customer sales data and issue regular reports on trends and deviations

·Propose purchase order programmes for key customers based on market trends

·Update stock check report so that information is available outside of AP working day

·Review key customer forecast in Microsoft Dynamics GP and amend according

·Update key customer price list as required

·Optimise stock per location to help maximise sales potential

Salary: £28-32K depending on experience.
