We are currently recruiting for a new Account Director to join their fantastic team! Your main responsibility as the new Account Director is to oversee accounts. You will be able to manage and plan the total picture involved in a growing client relationship, with minimal involvement from board or managing director... As well as being a fully rounded PR operator who has a thorough understanding of the media and communication skills needed. You also must have the business skills to grow accounts within the context and plans of the agency.

The role of Account Director should be to take the complexity of different needs, strategies and activities for clients and simplify to create plans and well executed solutions that will drive great client results.

So, what are we looking for?

·You are positively proactive in ensuring that all accounts under your remit have great plans in place, as well as regular reviews to ensure ongoing refinement and focus.

·You’re able to oversee the creation of and refine strategic and tactical plans that require little intention from board directors, and are swiftly approved by clients.

·You can manage and direct multiple accounts, ensuring that objectives are met in a timely manner, and generally exceed expectations.

·You’re able to swiftly and clearly communicate strategies and tactics, ensuring buy in and effective delivery from peers, directors, staff and clients.

·You add value to the media planning and approach process in both the new business/strategic planning stages and the on-going execution of media campaigns

·Developed relationships with key journalists

·Negotiate major media promotions and advertorials

·Taking the major role in important presentations to existing client and at new business pitches

·Develop, structure and write creative new business proposals with minimal input from board director or managing director

·Have a full understanding of all budgeting procedures and have complete financial control on all clients, projects etc
