Position: Corporate Property Services Manager 
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours a week 
Contract: Permanent 
Location: Wallfields, Hertford 
Salary: £43,053 - £53,147 per annum (inclusive of local weighting)

About the role: 

This is a new role reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance and Property. You will be a qualified surveyor with a proven track record in Local Government property and asset management. You will provide support to the Head of Strategic Finance and Property in managing major projects within the Council and assisting with the formulation of the department’s overall policy and strategy. You will play a vital role in leading a new Corporate Property Services team which includes the strategic and transactional arms of the Council’s property, asset management and facilities management functions. 

About you: 

You will have an appropriate qualification and will have worked in a senior role, ideally in a public sector environment, with experience in the delivery of significant projects, including risk management and financial planning. You will have worked closely with Senior Officers and Elected Members in providing strategic advice and guidance. 

You may have experience of the following: Corporate Services Property Manager, Qualified Surveyor, Property Manager, Local Council, Asset Management, Facilities Management, Public Sector, Local Authority, Facilities Management, etc.
