After a successful campaign, I am pleased to announce Bluebaring Recruitment are looking to appoint another experienced Compliance Manager to work for one of the largest housing providers in London. This is a new role within the business and has the scope to expand into its own separate department.

The Company:

With a portfolio, worth over £1bn GBP, they are involved in some of the most exciting new build & regeneration's schemes in London. 

The company act as a developer, builder and funder as well as being one of the top ten social landlords in the country. The business is expanding a rapid rate and they currently have 15 live developments in London with a number of large projects in the pipeline.

The Opportunity:

Due to expansion, the business is looking to appoint a Compliance Manager for their new Eastern region which will build 130000 homes over the next ten years. 

The role:

To ensure that management staff are in compliance with the practices, policies and procedures that the company has introduced. To conduct internal audits and make recommendations for change in order that best practice in maintained. Both roles will report into an experienced regional Operations Director who oversees both regions.

The Senior Compliance Manager will be responsible for:

·Providing high quality advice on matters of performance and compliance of the company.

·Work with all departments within construction including development and sales to continually improve best practice.

·Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance and report findings to management.

·Report and audit relevant quality assurance systems across the business, in particular the quality of finished units and the paperwork required for the company Programme Managers, sales, legal departments.

·Ensure Staff are suitably trained supported and monitored and that appropriate action taken when staff fail to comply with policy and procedures.

The Person:

Will need to be process driven and be able to get your point across in an articulate and professional manner.

·You will need previous management experience and possess strong leadership skill. You will need to have experience reporting at all levels from Board through to site staff and have the ability to influence decisions by providing professional and commercial arguments.

·Finance & Commercial awareness is essential

·Organisation and planning skills and the ability to apply management techniques in order to schedule workloads.

·Implement and keep all records up to date on all activities.

·Education to HNC level or a construction related qualification

·Experience of programme management systems 

·Experience of Health & safety procedures.

On Offer:

Package of £75,000 plus excellent pension up to 18% if you contribute 6%, healthcare and a discretionary 10% bonus.
