The Role & The Person 

We are looking for a talented, effective and charismatic Client Manager to work with us at Fat Media Ltd in Bristol. You will have experience of working in client services and digital marketing and be driven to build long lasting relationships with your clients. You will use your expertise in the digital industry to deliver an outstanding service.

Client Managers formulate, develop and implement the digital marketing strategy for a client. They’re responsible and accountable for client account performance, an excellent standard of communication and client satisfaction. A good level of SEO knowledge and expertise is a key requirement alongside strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate strategies, tactics and deliverables effectively to clients.

Essential Skill & Experience
  • 2+ years experience of working in the digital industry
  • A good level of SEO knowledge and expertise
  • Experience of implementing digital marketing strategy and techniques
  • Previous experience of growing and developing client accounts
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in the industry
  • Previous experience of managing and coordinating the demands of client accounts
  • Experience of building and growing client relationships
  • Previous experience of working in an agency
  • Excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills 

Specific Responsibilities 

Client Communication:

  • Formulating and presenting SEO strategies & tactics confidently
  • Excellent communication, clearly setting expectation
  • Generating insightful and clear monthly client reports based on KPIs

Account Management 

  • Responsible for implementation of client plans through effective communication of objectives & deliverables
  • Ability to project manage and prioritise workload
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ensure timely delivery of work and escalate any internal issues to senior staff

Digital Marketing Strategy:

  • Ability to understand client goals / KPIs in order to develop an SEO strategy that will generate results
  • Good understanding of the differences between B2B and B2C clients and relevant strategies and tactics
  • Experience of working on a range of client sectors (i.e. various industry sectors, from niche brochure to high-volume ecommerce)
  • Excellent analytical skills and high proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Audit new clients’ websites, recording and following up on any issues discovered
  • Formulate keyword strategy based on keyword research
  • Run usability reports and compose insights & recommendations
  • Ensure all documentation going out to clients is in-line with overall SEO strategy
  • Bug fix and constantly adapt tactics to ensure effective overall strategy
  • Ensure content planning is in line with overall SEO strategy for client
  • Review content briefs before submission to Editorial/Creative
  • Participate in developing promotional plans for content that are in line with the client’s brand and target audience
  • Obtain client approval for creative content projects
  • Follow up on upselling/cross-selling opportunities with the commercial team

SEO Tech:
