Senior Digital Project Manager / Programme Manager, E-commerce

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Digital Project Manager to lead a large number of onsite developers (backend & front end) and a dedicated motivated project team consisting of 2 PM's and project support. Ideally, you will have worked in a digital agency or within an integrated agency, have a solid understanding of the Internet, and an interest in marketing and the online industry. A development background or strong technical understanding would be highly advantageous. The environment would suit a PM with a can do attitude and a sense of urgency! Also someone who has managed other junior to mid-level PM's before and turned development teams round to reduce their burndown.


  • Develop and manage digital project plans from beginning to end
  • Meet with and receive feedback from internal and external project stakeholders on an on-going basis
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Gather estimates from production teams and do resources planning
  • Identify and manage dependencies and critical path
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Schedule and facilitate weekly stakeholder meeting during project delivery
  • Produce and maintain status overviews on all active projects
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify issues, and devise contingency plans
  • Support the accounts team in their vision and commercial goals for the account and its direction
  • Put in place the right procedures to get projects which may have too much overburn back on track
  • Help set KPI's, SLA's for client requests

Desired Experience

  • 3-4 years experience as a digital project manager
  • Experience delivering projects within the e-commerce space, website development
  • Experience working within an Agile environment or Waterfall environment
  • Can do attitude with a sense of urgency
  • Experience in planning, delivering and tracking detailed and evolving schedules for a development team

This is a highly successful and progressive organisation which offers good clear career progression (you could be director level within 2 years! The successful candidate will receive a basic salary between £55,000 - £65,000 and benefits package and Bonus with other perks such as regular free lunches and dinner's even a skydiving trip
