Area to be covered: London to Birmingham (M1 / M40 Corridor)

Remuneration: £30,000 - £40,000 (Neg. depending on experience) + 25-50% of basic OTE

The role of the Commercial Area Sales Manager – Internal Fire Doors will involve:

·Selling a high end range of manufactured certified fire doors concentrating on generating business from the commercial market

·Generating business for commercial projects such as hotels, hospitals, schools and large housebuild projects with national and regional developers

·Generating specifications from architects and specifiers

·Securing projects with main / sub contractors and regional / national developers

·Back sell projects via specialist door retailers

·Dealing with order values ranging from £5k - £1million depending on the project size

·100% concentration on generating new business relationships with a view to the role becoming more of a split once relationships are generated

·Working alongside the internal team, marketing and senior management to ensure the commercial divisions success

·Targeting projects within London and Birmingham territories with regular time at the company’s head office

The ideal applicant will be Commercial Area Sales Manager – Internal Fire Doors with:

·Must have a demonstrable track record in sales of internal fire door products

·Strong technical understanding of fire doors and related certifications required to achieve specifications

·Track record of specification sales via architects and sales to contractors and developers

·Experience of back selling via specialist door suppliers

·Capable of generating new business relationships

·Commercially astute, professional, organised

·Consultative sales approach, capable of working under minimal supervision

·Excellent work ethic, confident, autonomous
