I am recruiting on behalf of a Media Marketing company based in Hockley, Birmingham (BY THE JEWELLERY QUARTER)
They offer a bespoke service to their clients from leaflet display to digital, branding and advertising.
They are seeking a Sales Support / Account Executive to join their team in Birmingham.
You will be working with the on the road Sales Managers to ensure that all campaigns in the region run smoothly from the initial booking to display.
This includes keeping full communication with customers throughout the season and follow through on all potential new leads - either generated by you or passed on from the sales team. Some of the smaller customers you will manage solely yourself.
Some of your duties will include:
- Monitoring the progress of Campaigns and advising changes where necessary
- Recording all new leaflets as they arrive and maintaining a record by customer of relevant communication - stock receipts, campaign proposals, pricing details etc.
- Searching for prospects and leads and potentially make initial contact with the prospective customers
- Managing smaller customers and campaigns
- Telephoning potential customers to introduce our service and get appointments/sales
- Liaison with customers as required or at their request
- Researching new outlets and products
To be considered for this vacancy you must experience of working in a busy sales environment and a good telephone manner. In addition:
- Proficient at Microsoft Word and Excel
- An interest in the tourism sector
- Very well organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team (you will be based in the office alone at times)
- Sales support experience working in a busy sales environment would be ideal
- UK Driving licence
Salary £18,000 - This is a full time permanent role
