Working in their new purpose built world-class Centre for Science and Technology, where learners can unleash their full potential and be creative through hands-on learning, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire our learners to achieve and lead the way in the future of Computing.
As a Lecturer at the College your key responsibilities will include:·Maximising learner recruitment, retention and success through the provision of an outstanding educational experience which enable learners to maximise their potential.·Delivering outstanding courses which meet learner needs through the use of a diverse range of teaching and learning strategies, allowing learners to access a comprehensive range of resources and providing comprehensive assessment opportunities. ·Completing and maintaining effective data in relation to learners including, attendance, individual learner targets, progression, achievement and destination.·Being responsible for a course/courses of study and learner outcome.
With a Degree in Computing or a Computing related subject you will have previous experience teaching BTEC Computing and have the ability to improve retention and raise achievement.A Level 2 qualification in English and Maths and a Level 5 teaching qualification or a commitment to complete this within 2 years will be essential.
NQT’s with relevant experience and the determination to develop their career with the College will be considered.
