My client, a leading provider of global digital services for the learning and development sector is currently looking for an experience Finance Manager to prepare timely and accurate financial accounts, whilst ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet and underlying financial records. Based in central London with state of the art offices facilities, you will provide support to the Financial Controller and be responsible for the following duties; 
  • Maintain the underlying accounting records of the group.
  • Ensure that all balance sheet accounts reconcile.
  • Prepare the monthly consolidation for the group.
  • Review all balance sheet accounts, ensuring key variances are investigated. 
  • Provide commentary and variance analysis, explaining key balance sheet and cash flow changes.
  • Manage all aspects of the quarterly reporting to shareholders.
  • Prepare statutory accounts for all UK entities and overseas entities where appropriate.
  • Manage the year end process, liaising with the external auditors.
  • Monitor cash balances on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain an accurate cash flow forecast for all companies.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register.
  • Work with the FP&A team to produce board documents, management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare and maintain an accounting policy document complying with IFRS.
  • Ensure all companies comply with group accounting policies.
  • Document finance processes and key controls and maintain as required 
  • Ensure strong financial controls around financial reporting.
  • Ensure that key business financial controls are effective.
  • Provide financial input to projects and provide analysis.
  • Act as back-up to the Payroll Manager when required.
  • Drive process improvements.
  • Business partner with operational departments regarding financial accounting issues.
