Registered Learning Disability required urgently for our clients home based in Sale, M33!

Location: Sale, M33
Salary: £27,000
Hours: 40hrs p/w- Flexible shift pattern

About our client:
Our client provides a residential service to 8 people living in Sale, Greater Manchester. This home is a brand new service and provides residential accommodation and 24 hour nursing support for people living with learning disabilities.


The House is suitable for males and females with learning disabilities, autism, dual diagnosis and severe challenging behaviour and a range of complex needs. The service supports those who require an enhanced or specialist level of support which is otherwise unavailable in community settings.

The Role:
Working closely with the people our client support to assess their needs and provide the very best in clinical care:
·You will ensure all procedures are carried out to a high standard.
·You will work closely with the wider team to create an environment that delivers skilled nursing care, clear communication, and respect and dignity for everyone.
·You'll lead your team to deliver an innovative service that ensures everyone you support is safe, happy, healthy and full of plans to learn and develop.
·You will assess, plan and evaluate the needs of the people we support, perform risk assessments, manage medication and implement care plans.
·You will help your team develop their skills and above all ensure needs and wishes are met by engaging with the people we support, their family members and significant others.

Who we're looking for:
·You must be an NMC Registered nurse with an active PIN number
·Have strong knowledge of person-centered care.
·Gained experience in working with learning disabilities, autism and complex behaviours.
·You'll be committed to learning and developing further, and have the communication and people skills to motivate and develop the wider team around you,
·Prioritise and delegate where necessary to provide the very best in care.
·Have knowledge of the current care practices laid down by the CQC
·Have passion for delivering the very best standards to everyone in your care
