FMCG Account Director - Pet Category
London based with UK Coverage
£80,000 basic, £13,600 car allowance, executive level benefits package.

My client is a global market leader within the FMCG sector, providing an impressive range of instantly recognisable branded products into various channels and routes to market.
Due to recent developments within their Pet Category division, a new role has become available to lead the commercial teams who directly manage the relationships with multiple retailers and also national high street pet stores.

This position is responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of the commercial plan, to deliver maximum account penetration and increase revenue streams for the Pet category. The successful candidate must lead a team consisting of Business Managers, Activation Managers and Field Sales staff in order to deliver the growth plan.
In order to be considered for the role, candidates need to have the following skills and experience:

- Proven experience of successfully leading the commercial function within a blue-chip
FMCG business.
- Experience of joint planning and P&L management.
- A strong Category-led approach to sales management.
- Analytical, with an eye for detail and strong spreadsheet skills.
- Gravitas, the leader of this team needs to truly inspire those around them.
- Demonstrable people management skills - enabling results and change through others
- Experience of the Pet sector would offer distinct advantage, but is not essential.

This position forms part of the senior leadership team, so applicants need to feel comfortable operating at senior level.
