Salary £20k - £22K basic, OTE around £30 - 32K per annum. Permanent. Trafford Park

My client, a leading provider of safety products to various sectors including education and commercial businesses are seeking an ambitious Business Development Executive/Telesales Executive for growing organisation. The role will involve around 70% new business development including calling lapsed clients and following up website and email enquiries as well as cold calling. 30% of the role will be account management.

Your duties will include:
- Making cold calls
- Identifying new leads
- Promoting products
- Performing follow up duties
- Managing clients
- Attending meetings, training sessions and seminars
- Providing feedback to managers
- Researching market trends
Further, the candidate must:

Follow up clients continuously and responding to client enquiries.
Prepare business development strategies according to the needs of the client.
Secure business opportunities by cultivating mutually beneficial business relationship with current and potential clients.
Any other duties deemed relevant for the success of the role
Maintain a close relationship with Marketing Team to ensure that all sales actions are underpinned by strong marketing activities.
TO APPLY YOU MUST HAVE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/COLD CALLING EXPERIENCE WITHIN A PRODUCT BASED/FMCG TYPE ORGANISATION i.e. you have sold products instead of services. You must also be a self-starter who isnt afraid to cold call' You must also be highly ambitious and organised. Experience of using Act or Zoho would be ideal or other CRM systems. You must also be good at negotiating, good presentation and time management skills with the potential to handle a leadership role. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing manager.
