Office Angels are proud to be working with a leading, global manufacturing organisation specialising in scaffolding. As a business they pride themselves on their fast and accurate service ensuring that the customer experience is creative and unique.

They are currently looking for a General Manager to work across the business managing all staff including warehouse and the main office, which is currently a team of 4, however, has growth potential. As the General Manager you will ensure a continuous smooth running of the business, implementing new processes to drive the business forward and be expected to develop strategies to support this. You will have 2 Warehouse Managers that will report in to you with any queries as and when required and you will be responsible for overseeing production targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Production reports
  • Implementing new processes to drive business
  • Manage employees efficiently to ensure a smooth running of the office and warehouse
  • Elements of HR
  • Keeping in line with all Audit and Health and Safety requirements

The first few months will be spent shadowing and working very closely alongside the Managing Director ensuring that you are trained in all areas and have the opportunity to develop new procedures and strategies where appropriate. They are looking for someone to start ideally as soon as possible. You will have experience within a similar role or be looking to progress your career to that next stage. It is essential that you have management experience and excellent people skills. On offer is a salary between £40,000 - £65,000 this will be dependent on your experience. Your standard working hours will be Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm however, there must be an element of flexibility on this.
