Business Development Consultant – Colston Consulting

Who we are:

The Opus Professional Services Group are a Virgin Fast Track 100 company with offices in Bristol, London, Sydney, New York and Amsterdam and now have 14 brands within the group. We have seen exceptional growth since starting in 2008 (60% YOY) and have aggressive targets for 2017. One of our brands, Colston Consulting, require a Business Development Consultant to help them drive their own sales targets and join a small yet growing team.

Colston Consulting offer a more service driven approach to recruitment. We work more closely with our customers to understand the types of people they look to recruit and why and then our delivery consultants run tailored campaigns based on industry knowledge and analytics and provide our customers with real time data to make better hiring decisions.

The role:

In a nutshell, this role requires the consultant to develop leads into live work for the delivery team to fill. You’ll be given vacancy leads in a variety of different technologies and locations and through an organised contact cycle you’ll qualify those leads and either discard or introduce to the delivery team to run a campaign and get the vacancy filled.

In addition you’ll contribute to the overall sales strategy and plan for 2017 and beyond and work with various other parts of the business to take ownership of appropriate activity.

The successful candidate:

This needs to be a successful business developer in whichever sector they have come from. I need demonstrable experience, someone who knows their numbers around lead and meeting conversion rates. I need someone who is structured and organised and can produce timely and accurate reports and maintain an efficient CRM for all to follow.
