Head of Technical Control
Our client an innovative company who source and produce a growing range of healthy food products would like to recruit a Technical Control specialist to join their growing team.
The company is focussed on providing raw, vegan, organic and gluten free products which have been produced within an ethical sustainable ethos.
·Vast experience in food quality and technical Management specifically BRC, SALSA, HAC as well as TQM.
·At least 6 years’ experience in a technical leadership role within the FMCG industry.
·Level 4 Food safety and or Level 4 HACCP Internal audit qualifications and experience.
·Demonstrable experience of implementation of quality standards.
·Excellent working knowledge of HACCP, BRC standards and food legislation.
·Demonstrable auditing and standards monitoring experience.
·To ensure food safety/quality and adequate policies and procedures are robustly implemented.
·To develop a continuous improvement plan in line with the company growth.
·Ensure all new products are compliant and launch dates are adhered to in line with customer expectations.
·Keep up to date with legal requirements within food manufacturing and continuous improvement of the site.
·Food safety and quality systems and use of technical innovation to improve efficiency, yield and quality.
·Develop and maintain a Hygiene compliance schedule within the site.
·Training and development plan for all workers on site to ensure compliance with specified standards and Safety guidelines.
