Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Youth Project Manager to join their team in London. The successful applicant will join them on a full time fixed term contract basis and will receive a competitive salary of £28,000 - £33,000 per annum.

They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who has an understanding and background of supporting young people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, and a sound understanding of project management, to co-ordinate and manage youth projects in Westminster as part of their Young People Services.

Their Young People Services is an award winning facilitator of innovative youth projects and programmes. Their aim is to provide 21st Century opportunities to young people across London – with a focus on their communities, to ensure that they are successful in later life.

The work they deliver and support is accredited through nationally recognised awards and they are dedicated to working in partnership to effectively respond to the needs of young people and their communities, and to ensure creativity, flexibility and the highest level of professional quality is incorporated into every element of their service.

Their previous projects include a high profile campaign, their augmented reality app and website , the fashion programme and their App. Their current delivery offer focuses on the three strands of Enterprise Development, Young Leaders Young Ambassadors and their Careers Academy.

This particular vacancy will have a remit to manage the Transitions project which provides flexible and intensive support to young people who are either homeless or risking homelessness within the City of Westminster.

The key elements of this role are the management of local partnerships with youth organisations and agencies from all sectors to address the issue of youth homelessness, the allocation of tenancies, the management and issue of personal budgets and the delivery of personalised interventions to support vulnerable young people to progress.

This Youth Project Manager role will ensure that all work has clear outcomes, builds individual capacity and develops personal and professional skills and resources.

Desirable knowledge/experience/skills required by the Youth Project Manager

- Experience of the development of business and vocational programmes and workshops for young people.

Essential qualifications required by theYouth Project Manager

- JNC qualification or equivalent experience.
