As a Commercial and Cost Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high profile bid from a pricing perspective ensuring the successful performance of all estimating and pricing activity.

Your main responsibilities as a Commercial and Cost Pricing Manger will involve:

Compiling and owning the costing and pricing for the Power Improvement Programme bid solution

Being influential and providing leadership and direction in defining, delivering, reviewing and challenging the bid and project solution

Playing a major role in the bid team, influencing senior management and contributing to the overall business winning process

Performing analysis for different pricing methods, scenarios and business models, as appropriate for the bid, to support the internal approvals and the competitiveness of the bid

Working with the Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain and other relevant functions to request, review, challenge and validate inputs to the estimate, ensuring they are robust, reasonable and align to the scope of the bid solution

Support the bid team in preparing any approval or bid documentation related to the costing and pricing of the bid

In order to apply you will need to have

Experience in developing fully priced proposals backed by a Basis of Estimate and Master Data and Assumptions documentation.

Exhibit an extensive level of knowledge and experience in the preparation of different types of cost estimates.

Extensive knowledge of Cost Engineering tools and techniques

Can develop full Risk, Opportunity and Uncertainty assessment and analysis for major bids

Previous major bids experience desirable

Experience in Engineering or Defence industry highly desirable
