PMO Analyst role available in Birmingham paying £40000-45000 for a large-scale organisation

Your new company
Hays are partnering exclusively with a well-known, large, local company to appoint PMO Analyst into a brand new position. This is a permanent role and you will be expected to start no later than April.

Your new role
As PMO Analyst, your overall responsibility will be to provide support to the PMO team. This will include tracking the status of major portfolio deliverables and milestones, monitoring the status of current projects transitioning into normal service, and assisting the PMO Manager with defining and updating the project management processes, standards and governance. Where the PMO Manager will be producing a specification for a programme and project management tool, you will co-ordinate and lead the implementation and the ongoing management of the tool.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have previously worked in a corporate Programme Management Office or even better, a PMO providing a Portfolio and/or PMO Analyst service. You will demonstrate a full understanding of lifecycle project management using PRINCE2 methodology for medium to large sized projects. You will presently hold a Project Management qualification eg. PRINCE2, MSP, APM. You will be tenacious and able to work on your own initiative.
