Person Specification for Complex Needs Teacher
The Headteacher wants to recruit a Complex Needs Teacher with the skills to build up the confidence of their pupils, setting high expectations for them and guiding them to success. You must show the ability to maintain a positive, happy class and meet any challenges in an upfront, open manner. You should be passionate about teaching pupils with special educational needs, promoting learning opportunities, achievement, independence and confidence. You should be a creative Complex Needs teacher who has been acknowledged as a 'Good' or better teacher out of observations and 3 years of teaching experience. We want to see teachers with the drive to keep their lessons accessible for all and design lesson interesting, top quality lessons. You will have a natural flair for participating and leading group discussions as well as the self-confidence to work well under your own steam. The school wants to meet applicants who have the confidence and adaptability to fully integrate themselves into the school and rapidly build a detailed understanding of their new role.
