We are looking for a modern and empathetic KS1 Teacher who has a 'Good' or better record from observations in the classroom and has the skills to display a comprehensive curriculum knowledge. You should possess a genuine obsession with modern teaching methodology, taking the initiative to consume the latest literature on techniques and current philosophies. You must show the ability to keep the higher ability pupils on course whilst ensuring the rest of the class do not get left behind. You will be a capable individual who can adjust quickly to ensure progression from the outset.
About the KS1 teacher Role
At this friendly school, as a KS1 Teacher you will be joining a specific KS1 class based on the school's need and you will be developing your own skills on a bespoke CDP course. The KS1 department has an inclusive ethos that has been installed by a passionate Phase Leader. Your responsibilities will include delivering lessons with the help of a supportive TA and working a TLR position as the Intervention as well as your usual duties.
