GLOBALLY RENOWNED LUXURY RETAILER SEEKS SENIOR PLANNER / MERCHANDISER TO JOIN THRIVING HEAD OFFICE TEAM AS THEY CONTINUE TO GROW.

My Client is a multinational retailer with an ever-increasing army of dedicated customers.
Due to their continued expansion they are now looking for a Senior Planner to develop, manage and achieve Financial Plans for Product area. Targets include Sales, Gross Margin and Inventory Turn.

As they continue to expand there will be ample opportunity for career progression as well as an excellent £package.

The main responsibilities of the role will be;

To undertake replenishment activities for a product area against agreed range plans and to identify and action agreed opportunities to optimise sales, stockholding and profit.
To pro-actively support the Supply Chain Manager in driving the Supply Chain Strategy for the Category/Categories on a daily basis, as well as supporting other members of the team on specific projects.

Principal accountabilities

1To maintain regular contact with key stakeholders to ensure replenishment activities are executed effectively up and down the supply stream
2To forecast and plan stock requirements to support buying activity
3Management and maintenance of the replenishment systems to optimise stock management
4To control the replenishment and stock management requirements of key areas and specific projects.
5To build professional business relationships with suppliers at the appropriate contact level
6To demonstrate effective team working by being a clear role model to other members of the team.

YOU WILL BE

*Able to deliver strong presentations which include financial information and business strategies. Able to tailor level of detail in presentations to reflect the audience (i.e. cross functional team or Senior Management).
*Possess excellent problem solving skills. Able to develop several business strategies to solve the problem, create a financial forecast associated with each strategy and, through analysis, determine the most profitable solution to the problem.
*Demonstrate highly developed listening, written and oral communication skills. Able to make persuasive arguments both in written and oral form. Able to reflect the appropriate sense of urgency and determine the proper business partners to resolve problems and share information.
*Able to foster relationships with other members of the cross functional team. Demonstrate strong leadership and negotiating skills. Exhibit ability to develop relationships and partner with members of the organization outside of the cross functional team (i.e. Human Resources, Visual, and Storeline).
*Possess skills in training and development
