Euro London Appointment's client, a world leader in Content Delivery Networks for Video and Online Media and Entertainment, regularly recognised in innovation awards for their products, is currently looking for a Senior Services Architect to design and implement customized solutions for key accounts in the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Post-Sales Engineer or Consultant with significant Networking and Media streaming or delivery experience to join a cutting-edge technology company expanding throughout the UK, Europe and globally.

Job purpose

The objective of the position is to design and implement cutting-edge services and solutions for major accounts, based on in-depth understanding of our client's product set and the cache architecture it runs on.

The Senior Solutions Architect is expected to forge technical relationships with assigned key accounts and different client stakeholders. This is a vital post-sales relationship that requires strong consultative skills, ensuring profitability, client retention and facilitation of new business in close contact with the sales teams.

You would provide technical leadership from you in-depth understanding of the current industry and technology trends whilst providing mentorship to the internal team relating to your areas of experience.


*Designing, building and documenting complex solutions for customers based on our client's CDN products and caching architectures.
*Working with Development and Operations colleagues to provide analysis , tuning and improvement of our client's products and architecture.
*Leading advanced services Level 4 escalations, engaging additional resources as required.
*Coaching and mentoring colleagues to improve the quality and performance of implementations , analysis and time-to-resolution across their product range.
*Assisting the engineering and development teams with release and change management processes.
*Building test frameworks to investigate, document and resolve complex issues.


*Bachelor's Degree in related field.
*At least one significant experience in an Enterprise level Network Operations Centre (NOC) or production support organization.
*Excellent experience with Windows, Unix or Linux administration in an operations environment.
*Experience troubleshooting network elements, protocols, services and transport layer problems.
*Hands-on experience working in a customer facing technical support position.
*Significant experience of delivering internal and /or external projects.
*Experience of web debugging and analysis tools eg. Fiddler, Wireshark, tcpdump, Charles.
*Experience with shell scripting and similar languages including Python, Perl, Ruby and PHP.
*Experience with open source caching proxies such as squid and varnish.
Knowledge , skills and abilities.
*Excellent written and verbal English
*Strong time management skills.
*Continuous desire to learn more.
*Ability learn and adapt quickly
*Good track record of decision making.
*Operational understanding of free and open source conventions and methodologies.
*Thorough understanding of cache/CDN methodologies and design.
*Thorough understanding of TCP/IPv4/V6 internet routing protocols and network theory.
*Architectural knowledge of internet based SaaS and PaaS solutions including video and storage.
*Knowledge of internet media streaming protocols and standards.
*Knowledge of Agile project management.
*Ability to work from the office as well as remotely.
*Occasionally able to travel long-haul and short-haul for client meetings.
