Lending Documentation Officer
My client, a leading financial services organisation, are looking for Specialist Lending Documentation Officers at various levels, to work in their growing team in the heart of Manchester. Offering a diverse workload, a commitment to work-life balance and a salary of £35-45k for the junior roles, and up to £55k for the Senior positions. My client would also consider people who are looking to relocate to the Manchester area.
As a Specialist Lending Documentation Officer you will be responsible for drafting legal documentation relating to the full range of products offered by the company. This role is at the forefront of protecting the bank from risk and ensuring that the relationship teams are supported and kept abreast of complex instructions relating to corporate and commercial banking products.
The successful candidate must have demonstrable experience with the following:
- Solid experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal and financial documents
- An understanding of the legal framework for consumer credit in the UK market.
- Demonstrable knowledge of facilities agreements and documentation, overdrafts, securities and loans.
You will already have a background in finance/banking, either in-house at a FS organisation or the banking section of a reputable law firm. The junior role would suit someone with an LPC qualification and a solid 12 months of paralegal experience or 1 years PQE in the banking/finance sector. The senior position requires a Banking Solicitor of c. 3 years PQE, and experience with drafting and reviewing facility documentation is essential.
