This position is among a team of 5 and reports in to the Payroll Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying and organising timesheet data, updating payroll records, and being a vital point of contact with clients and workers in writing and over the phone.

Key Duties
• Entry/organisation of timesheet data in MS Excel
• Creation of new records in Sage Payroll
• Ensuring records and files are kept up to date
• Administering HMRC notices such as P45s and tax code changes
• Answering customer/client enquiries
• Updating online payslip portal
• External correspondence with HMRC, CSA, Courts, etc.
• General office administration tasks

Payroll experience (especially client payroll) is desirable but not essential.

Desirable characteristics include:
• Strong excel skills (specifically Vlookup)
• Strong communication skills and experience in customer-facing roles
• Office admin/accounts experience
