My client, a leading Search Intelligence specialist in the world is looking for a Media/Insights Analyst. They bring search data into programmatic and fusing together the two largest sectors of digital advertising, Search and Display.

Their unique Semantic Technology analyses 14 billion monthly searches to interpret the intent and interests of over a billion users, to power Brand and DR advertising campaigns across Display, Video and Mobile formats.

Nike, M&S, BMW and hundreds of global tier one brands rely on Search Intelligence to pinpoint audiences interested in their brand, their products, or their competitors. This data not only allows advertisers to activate more informed digital advertising, it also allows brands to tap into actionable insights unlocked only through Search Intelligence.

To date, they have raised $15m in investment backed by Panoramic Growth Equity and Smedvig Capital. In London, NYC, Paris, Hamburg and Kiev, a global team of 130 is powering growth of over 150% year on year.

The candidate will be responsible for the analysis of all search term and ad campaign data in the USA, including the production of bespoke trend, correlation and performance insights.

Their structured search data provides user intent targeting of programmatic direct marketing campaigns, it is with this goal in mind that analysis should be focused. The work will be both directed with clear deliverables (by Customer teams) as well as undirected for novel insights, with the opportunity to create industry white papers and key business opportunity analysis that help each area of the business improve performance on their respective campaigns.

The role is technology focused and so requires an individual with technical ability but also experience of working with data and real time bidding within the programmatic environment. An important part of the role will be to drive creation and scale of great value new customer insights, and present them their clients- so a high degree of business acumen is required.

The candidate must have a good foundation in display or search advertising, analytical, practical solution finder and importantly be able to visualize their work clearly to all levels of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze large amounts of transactional and behavioral data, using statistical modeling and pattern analysis techniques, to identify customers / prospects insights

Work closely with the client strategy, publisher solutions, marketing and product teams

Participate in the planning and design of new reporting and analysis products for internal and external use

Transform data into stories through building presentation decks

Communicate research findings to technical and non- technical audiences internally and externally

Required skills:

2-3 years analysing programmatic performance and commercial trends within a Programmatic environment

Proven experience with `big data` and audience segmentation

Proven experience with statistical analysis

Exposure to research statistics and experiment design and analysis

Familiarity with SQL or similar querying languages

Advanced Microsoft Excel
