Reporting to: Financial Controller

Hours: 41.25 hours per week (excl break), Monday-Friday

Salary: £21,000 OTE

The Amathus Drinks Group, which includes Bablake Wines Ltd, is a fast growing, privately owned drinks distributor, importer and specialist retailer with turnover in excess of £60m, a staff count of over 200 employees. Our direct serviced distribution area covers most parts of England and Wales.

We are looking to recruit a fast pasted Accounts administrator to process our new customer accounts, help keep the accounts department communication running smoothly and assist in the maintenance of our HR records - all to ensure our future success.

The Role:

  • Process new account opening forms

  • Credit control assistance, calling overdue customers, investigating non payment issues.

  • Liaise with customers, suppliers & other staff members to achieve objectives

  • Send out via email documents such as statements, direct debit advices, references

  • Purchase ledger tasks, matching invoices to delivery notes, entering on software

  • Book-keeping tasks as directed, such as processing income, retail section of the business

  • Liaise with logistics to confirm if deliveries can go ahead

  • Log staff sick, holiday dates and keep new employee records up to date.

    The Person:

  • Previous accounts office experience.

  • Educated to A’level or equivalent.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.

  • Keep calm under pressure

  • A self-starter who is proactive and can set and achieve goals.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.

  • Working knowledge of excel, Dynamics Nav will be desirable

  • Must reside within an 8 mile radius of NW10 7ST.
