We are currently working with the London office of a global engineering consultancy who are seeking a Senior / Principle Energy Engineer to join their Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Division. This highly skilled team provide specialist front-end advice and guidance to clients around their energy strategy with the view of providing cost effective long-term solutions which provide a reduced carbon foot print and security to their energy supply. Typically this centres around de-centralised energy centres incorporating technologies such as CHP, Biomass and Energy to Waste solutions on systems from 1 to 5 megawatts.

The successful Senior / Principle Energy Engineer will work closely with the director dealing directly with end clients and developers developing concepts and master-plans for de-centralised energy centres (typically incorporating CHP, Biomass or Energy to Waste systems), undertaking feasibility studies and producing outline energy design solutions, as well as supporting the client with technical advice throughout the build and management phases. Their clients include organisations such as the Ministry of Defence, Jaguar, Rolls Royce and The Parliamentary Estate.

For individuals interested in being considered you will need to possess a minimum of 4 years experience in the energy industry with knowledge gained in the design of CHP systems. Additionally you will hold formal qualification within a related field as well as holding a keen interest in the energy market and in renewable technology. Chartered Engineer status with CIBSE, Imechi or the Energy Institute is desirable although support will be provided for those seeking to gain CEng.
