Graduate IT Support Analyst (3 Year Rotation Programme) - 2016/2017 Grads

Job Location: Manchester, North West England (Commutable from Chester, Liverpool, Stockport, Warrington, Rochdale, Bolton and other surrounding areas)

Job Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 with excellent company benefits

We have an exciting job opportunity for a 2016 or 2017 Computing related graduate to join our client in Manchester in an IT Support Graduate Scheme.

Our client is a leading security organisation based in Manchester, and are looking for a graduate who is passionate about IT, and wants to pursue rewarding career in IT Support! They are looking for someone who has experience already of working in an IT Support of Helpdesk setting, either from a sandwich placement in university, or even from a part time or full time support role during or after university.

The perfect candidate will be IT savvy, have hands on IT experience and be able to engage with customers on a daily basis. The company offer great support and training in this role, with a chance to explore 3 different career paths in 3 years to see what suits you best!

Job Responsibilities:

Year 1: Internal IT Team: Hands on learning of the company's software, call logging, basic IT fixes, application support, desktop and server management

Year 2: IT Support Team: Liaising with the company's customers, assisting with technical enquiries about the company's product, dealing with issues via phone or email.

Year 3: Post Sales Team: Acting as a Graduate Implementation Consultant with the post sales team, visiting customers across the country and in Europe face to face, assisting in the implementation of the software with new customers and answering technical questions

During each step of the way, you will be assigned a graduate buddy to help you out!

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of a 2:1 or predicted in a Computing, Information Systems, Computer Science or similar technical degree.
  • Experience of working in IT Support / IT Helpdesk Technician position
  • Outgoing personality, excellent customer facing skills and the ability to talk and strike up conversations with clients.
