Technical Sales Executive

North West - location flexible*

Up to £40K basic (dependent on experience) plus Uncapped Bonus, Car and Benefits

The company is a profitable, innovative and expanding manufacturer and distributor, supplying technical products into the medical, healthcare, industrial and retail markets. The business is certified to ISO 9001:2015, with £10M+ sales and is part of a privately owned group of companies committed to growth; both organic and via acquisition.

This is an exceptional career opportunity for a talented, results oriented Technical Salesperson who can help drive the business to the next level. Reporting to the General Sales Manager, you will be part of a small team responsible for developing profitable sales across each of the above market sectors throughout the UK. This role combines both new business development and account management and your focus will be on increasing both revenue and margin.

You could either have a strong commercial sales background or have made the transition to sales from a technical role. Either way, full product training will be provided to enable you to develop a strong understanding of the full range of technical applications.

Candidates should have the following characteristics / experience

- Can clearly demonstrate a proven record of consistent sales growth in competitive markets. Proactive in pursuing new opportunities.
- Good understanding of technical applications, perhaps supported by a degree or equivalent qualification, or have the technical aptitude to quickly get up to speed
- Market sector knowledge of one or more of the following would be advantageous-healthcare, retail, commercial / industrial
- Focused on selling 'value' and not on price; persuasive
- Key account management skills and great at building relationships at all levels
- Organised, determined, manages time effectively - used to managing a large geographical area

*Location is flexible and candidates could be based in any of the following areas - Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Cheshire, Staffordshire, North Wales.
