Young Persons Support Worker
My client is part of an organisation that promote independent living through individualised support plans and they are always finding innovative ways of helping people via flexible and easily accessible support.
As a Young Persons Support Worker, you will help work to support plans for individuals from a variety of client groups including medium needs mental health, ex homeless and young parents that are responsive to the need of the individual and his/her family. You will also provide a range of support measures that will help and empower these individuals.
Due to the nature of the work, you must act in a professional manner at all times - keeping good records, communicating effectively and sharing information as appropriate. You must also understand and comply with the standards as required. We are looking for individuals who are organised, professional and committed to people being included in their communities. You must have previous experience of Support Work and risk assessments and be flexible in terms of availability and approach to providing support.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROLE WILL ENTAIL SHIFT WORKING INCLUDING SLEEP IN'S AND WEEKENDS
