IT Trainer - Part Time


£40-£45,000 (pro rata)

Our client, a well-known law firm based in the West End of London are looking for an IT Trainer to join their team on a Part-Time basis. Working hours will be Monday, Tuesday & Thursday or Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 9.30 - 5.30. You will be responsible for developing and delivering formal and informal IT training in Microsoft office packages & internal systems and also technical support for the business.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering 1:1 inductions, workshops and training across the company
  • Creating training materials, handbooks and support guides
  • Up-dating training material to reflect system upgrades
  • Working with the IT team to answer questions/queries on MS office and internal systems
  • Completing and maintaining training administration & equipment
  • Scheduling training
  • Maintaining training records and provide reports when required
  • Providing technical user support for all systems used
  • Identifying and where possible resolve technical issues
  • Escalating problems with relevant person when you can’t find a resolve
  • Maintaining records of all call support and actions taken
  • Setting up users and new starters allowing access rights on approved systems as directed
  • Assisting in new system roll outs
  • Setting up PC’s and work stations
  • Arranging movement of office/IT equipment as required
  • Maintaining printers

Skills Required:

  • Experience of delivering training 1:1 and to large teams
  • Advanced user knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 & 2016, Outlook, Adobe, InterAction, FileSite, SharePoint, Rekoop, Avaya, Smart Phones and tablets
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Be well presented
  • Previous experience of creating high quality training manuals
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to be pro-active in seeking solutions and putting forward ideas
  • Work well independently and in teams
