The Role:

This position is a part-time position to work four days a week in either our Essex, Reading or Birmingham offices. In this role you will be responsible for providing advanced tax and trust advice to our clients, as well as supporting Paraplanners and Financial Planners with highly complex tax and trusts matters. You will be working in a team of two, reporting directly to the Compliance Director with a Tax and Trust assistant, who will be supporting you to meet your objectives. As a part of this role your main responsibility will be taking charge of trust suitability report templates, providing tax advice and training others to ensure we meet high standards and we are fully compliant for our clients.

We look for people with the following criteria:

  • Must be a Chartered Tax Advisor.
  • Must be STEP qualified.
  • Strong technical knowledge of regulations, legislation and codes of practice relevant to tax and trusts and financial products.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organised and methodical.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Team player, who is able to support other teams with tax advice.
