Chef De Partie/ Junior Sous Chef
We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable Chef De Partie/ Junior Sous Chef to join the team in this established, all day High St restaurant and bar offering high-end casual fine dining with an outdoor terrace.
Menus are contemporary and feature a popular breakfast/brunch,a seasonal A La Carte and daily specials.
As Sous Chef you will be expected to play a key role in the day to day running of the kitchen including:
- Working on all sections
- Supervising other staff
- Food safety & hygiene
- Ordering & stock management
- Contribute to menu & dish development
- Take responsibility for the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
- We are looking for an enthusiastic chef with good kitchen skills, a flexible "can do" attitude and a real passion for cooking; adaptable, self aware & punctual.
You must have several years experience in a similar busy fresh food environment and hold a current food hygiene certificate with some kitchen management experience and be comfortable running the team when left in charge.
