Sheridan Maine are recruiting on behalf of a a large Plc in Portsmouth for a Divisional Financial Controller to support a key division working closely with the management team to deliver financial and operational targets. Working as part of the management team the role will be responsible for the provision of timely and accurate financial and management reporting for the division as well as inputting in to new bids and tenders.

Key deliverables of the Divisional Financial Controller include:-

- Preparing and presenting financial results and forecasts including monthly reporting packs, budgets, forecasts and strategic plan financials.
- Playing an active role in the senior management team including strategy, business development and customer responsibilities.
- Preparing/reviewing of pricing of tenders and bids, providing challenge and commercial rigour.
- Ensuring that all management reporting information is delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
- Managing and developing the finance team.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with demonstrable business partnering experience gained in a Plc environment preferably within a services organisation.
