Chef Manager - Head Chef - Daytime Hours
**Chef Manager - Head Chef - Circa £25,000 - Tuesday to Saturday or every other weekend - Leatherhead**
Shifts on a Tuesday to Saturday basis or every other weekend off, with the earliest start at 7am and the latest finish around 6pm, there would need to be a degree of flexibility as expected in hospitality but this would be the main part of your hours on shift, giving an excellent work life balance.
It is exciting times for this particular site as there is a new management team in place and you will be working in a brand new, well equipped kitchen. There will be a small team in place in the kitchen, 1 sous chef, 2 general assistants and a Kitchen porter. The care home its self has occupancy of around 60, catering for all services including breakfast, lunch and supper as well as a day care centre.
The food cooked on site is all fresh and you would have full responsibility of ensuring the high standards of presentation and quality. All ordering HACCAP and paperwork would fall under your remit as you would probably expect.
We are looking for hands on chef who also has good management skills, someone who leads from the pass. You should be adaptable and have a good eye for detail.
Salary works out around 25k per annum (hourly rate of 11ph) 40 - 45 hours per week, you do get paid for every hour you work with these guys.
