Person Specification - Physics Teacher

You must be a calm and creative Physics Teacher who is set to achieve 'Good' or better in your final PGCE grade together with exemplary organisational and interpersonal skills. The successful Physics Teacher will have an excellent understanding of how best to turn their personal passion for science and education into successful teaching and learning.

About the Role - Physics Teacher

In this Physics Teacher position you will be moving into an especially successful Science Department. You will have the full support of the dynamic HOD and academic achievement will be your primary goal in this role. Your responsibilities will include teaching up to KS4 standard and teaching alongside an experienced and dedicated Science TA. Perhaps the most popular faculty in the school, the Science Department takes an unique approach to teaching which helps maintain its reputation as a favourite among pupils. During the last year or so, the school has had extensive work done to classrooms and science laboratories. The science department was revamped and now the new labs are huge (50% bigger than the norm) and there is some of the best science equipment available for every class, student and teacher.
