Payroll Manager / Controller
Our client is a well established and highly respected firm of Accountants. They currently have a rare opportunity for an experienced Payroll professional to join their team in Surrey.
This is a key role within the firm which will report directly to the Managing Partner. You will join a fun and highly motivated team that are committed to providing a first class service to their clients.
You will have responsibility for running the monthly payroll for 200+ clients. The vast majority of these are small, local businesses and you will be the main point of contact within the firm for any client related payroll queries. Whilst controlling all aspects of the client payroll function will take up the majority of your time, you will also assist with some basic bookkeeping and VAT calculations.
Ideally you will have at least 3 years payroll experience with some understanding of general bookkeeping. Previous knowledge of working with Sage, Iris and Excel systems would also be advantageous.
