The Role for the Hands on PHP developer (Tech agnostic) Node JS, react JS,etc.

The successful PHP developer will join a fast growing VC firm with a multiple portfolio of tech companies held and amalgamated under one fabulous brand. You will be an important member of the team and will be right in the heart of the action from the outset. Collaborating and contributing on tomorrows world class platforms built with open source languages like PHP, Javascript REACT, Node JS, etc by some of the most experienced and knowledgeable developers in the World.

The PHP Developer,

·Work with the CTO and other developers on site in EC3 London to deliver cutting edge online platforms for our Ed Tech Portfolio.

·Be responsible for writing world class PHP Code, exploring new tech, Node JS React JS

·Some Knowledge of CMS (maintain and Migration) Drupal

·Exposure to Node JS and MEAN stack

·Have autonomy in the role and be expected to advance projects and orchestrate the delivery of cutting edge solutions

·Run SQL queries and know MVC frameworks, such as codeigniter

·Have a keen eye for detail and be able to contribute on the technical delivery

Example Skills and Experience for the php Developer

·Broad skill set across full technology stacks for example:- (Windows & Unix server, PHP, Python, Javascript frameworks, HTML 5, RDBMS, mobile development) MEAN REACT JS etc It is more important to be a talented coder than to have a laundry list of tech. This role is about delivery and production. Demonstrate that.

·Agile methodology, ability to contribute to best practice and work with others

·Strong facilitation skills and ability to work with senior client managers as well as client technical teams

Salary for the PHP developer

·Base salary of Circa £40k (+-10k negotiable) starting salary depending on experience

·An annual performance-linked bonus 10-15%

·The potential to join the company’s EMI options scheme in the medium-term

·Opportunity to contribute to and take a stake in new companies and projects as the portfolio develops
