A leading professional services organisation has a new opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant to join their successful team near Melbourn.

The successful individual will provide crucial office support to Goods In, Facilities and Finance teams involved with all areas of purchasing, maximising resource utilisation and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.

Responsibilities will include:

* Raising purchase orders and invoices
* Processing delivery notes
* Gathering quotations
* Building effective relationships with suppliers
* General filing

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with suppliers and departments across the business.

You will have strong Microsoft Office skills and feel confident using Excel, Word and PowerPoint. This role will suit a proactive individual with the ability to deliver on deadlines and to work both autonomously and as part of a dynamic, professional team.

The successful candidate is likely to have gained some previous commercial experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Office Administrator, Office Support, Accounts Assistant, Customer Service Assistant or similar.
