Our client is the Asset Protection and Accident Investigation business that has strong business relationships with a number of solicitors and insurance companies across the UK.. They provide investigation services for a number of clients ranging from major insurance companies and law firms to private individuals and were highly commended at a recent National award ceremony for their contribution in tackling motor insurance fraud. The client has also built strong links with most UK police forces and other law enforcement agencies, and played a key role in a ground breaking International Operation where £1m worth of stolen UK vehicles.
We are now looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual with a proven ability to investigate to join our successful team.
Key Accountabilities
*To provide a first class service to all clients
*To assist in the reduction of fleet insurance claims by identifying and reducing risk of injury and damage whilst vehicles are on hire
*To use and evaluate all available tools, including on line resources HPI, risk database, In-Car Tracking Device
*To gather intelligence and develop for inclusion in fraud databases
*To build professional external relationships with law enforcement agencies and other parties involved in asset protection and fraud prevention
*To be responsible for recovery of vehicles from clients where there is a perceived risk to the asset
*To provide office and field based support to staff and clients when required to identify and manage risk to assets
*Previous experience of dealing with criminal and/or civil investigation processes
*Proficient IT user
*Awareness of the legal framework in which the business operates
*Effective time management and planning skills with ability to prioritise and recognise importance and urgency of workload
*Valid driving licence
*Excellent relationship building and communication skills
*The ability to prioritise, recognising importance and urgency
*Detail conscious
