Start Date: ASAP (February Half Term)

Salary: Inner London weighting (£28,097-£46,829)

Summary:

The supportive Headteacher of a primary school located in the heart of a wonderful community is currently looking for a KS1 Year 2 class teacher to join their team following the February half term. The position will be provided on a full time permanent basis and is accompanied by a generous Inner London weighted salary.

The school has set up a safe and nurturing environment in which the children are both challenged and supported to reach their individual potential, through dedicated and inspirational teaching. Having recently undergone refurbishment the school benefits from bright and well-resourced classrooms, which when combined with the well behaved and eager to learn children creates a very pleasant working environment.

Located near Regents Park the school benefits from beautiful surroundings and great transport links, with a large staff car park available and a London Underground train station within a 5 minute walk. There are also multiple bus stops surrounding the school making for an easy commute if you are based in North, West or Central London.

Candidate:

The team of staff work closely with one another and the SLT are very supportive. As such, the successful candidate must be friendly with well-developed interpersonal skills. Qualified Teacher Status and a Degree level or higher education is essential. Previous experience within KS1 is beneficial however, a strong knowledge in the latest curriculum is required.
