Adecco are currently recruiting for Sales Account Manager to join our well established client based in Harlow. This is an exciting permanent opportunity to join a business that can offer career progression and an upbeat and sociable place to work.

The Account Manager is responsible for the management of major customers, developing proactive relationships and to maximise profit.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate who has an interest in technology and is looking to take their next step in their career. The position will be based in Harlow, offering a salary of £23,000 per annum. After probation has been passed you will have the opportunity to earn bonus.

Key Accountabilities:

*Attain targets through development, retention and proactive growth of business within assigned account base.

*Update and maintain customer accounts to preserve existing business.

*Conduct sales activities to acquire new business in existing customer base.

*Add value to the sale through in depth product, market and customer knowledge.

*Create, negotiate and close commercial agreements.

*Work with Field Sales to maximise relationships and customer base.

*Be the anchor for the UK sales team and manage initial customer contact and order
*processing to provide customers with an excellent account management service.

*Attain targets through development, retention and proactive growth of business within assigned account base.

*Help to capitalise on business opportunities and meetings to provide a successful sales outcome.

*Hold commercial awareness and strong communication skills.

*Help to proactively build a sales pipeline.

*Represent our organisation at customer meetings, trade exhibitions, events and product demonstrations.

*Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on buying and technology trends.

The ideal candidate:

*Proven experience within Sales/ Internal sales role. Experience in the retail industry would be advantageous.

*The ability to be able to build upon existing and develop new working relationships.

*Customer focused with a professional approach.

*Experience in business to business technical and solution based sales would be highly advantageous.

*Computer literate; both on Microsoft and apple.

*An understanding of electrical components or experience in a similar technology area is desired.

The successful candidate will be entitled to 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
