Head Sommelier Star Hotel
A stunning Luxury Hotel situated in the South East of England to the West of London is currently looking for an exceptional individual to join them as the Head Sommelier.
As the Head Sommelier you will report in the hotels food & beverage director and be responsible for all aspects of wine service and stock control across the venue with a specific focus on the destination fine dining restaurant.
You will ensure that faultless and informed wine service is offered in the fine dining restaurant as well as overseeing the wine service in the brasserie and meeting and events operation.
You will be responsible for managing relationships with beverage suppliers as well overseeing the cellar and doing stock takes.
The Head Sommelier will also train all relevant front of house staff on wine service.
The ideal candidate will have over two years Sommelier experience within a luxury hotel or Michelin Stared restaurant environment as well as a passion for working on the floor and training and developing staff.
