After an internal review of long-term strategy, this multicultural SEND Secondary school is excited to be able to advertise for a new KS3 SEMH/SEBD Science Teacher to join the school in September 2017. This SEND Learning Provision is a leader in providing support, care and education to young people who present with a range of learning issues attributed to Behavioural, Social, Emotional (SEBD) or Social Emotional Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).

Person Specification for KS3 SEMH/SEBD Science Teacher
The ideal candidate will be a versatile and talented KS3 SEMH/SEBD Science Teacher who possesses a level-headed approach to challenging situations. The ideal KS3 SEMH/SEBD Science Teacher will have the passion and ambition to go above and beyond their duties. You will have the drive to bring your flexible attitude to lessons in order to quickly respond to changes in the workplace. The right KS3 SEMH/SEBD Science Teacher will have the understanding of complex learning needs necessary to remain an empathetic and supportive teacher whilst giving their pupils the respect they deserve as young adults.
About the KS3 SEMH/SEBD Science Teacher Role
This KS3 SEMH/SEBD Science Teacher role involves you joining the school's dedicated Science Department and you will be taking classes that require the KS3 curriculum. You will have the responsibility of working with the excellent support of a responsible department head and enjoying the freedom to use the Science Department's exceptional well managed equipment. A full-time TA will assist in the delivery of your lessons, giving you an extra pair of eyes and helping with lesson preparation.
