Our client; a growing and established innovative publishing organisation is currently recruiting for a talented and knowledgeable Sales Manager to be based in their London office managing the Benelux region, due to continued expansion and growth. This role will be responsible for growing their subscription division by managing sales efforts in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.

The key responsibilities of the Sales Manager include but are not restricted to:

  • Selling their whole digital/innovative portfolio using your Dutch/French language skills
  • Travelling to relevant conferences, both domestically and in region to increase awareness and build relationships
  • Travel 30-40% of the time to the Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg regions to develop your client base
  • Sell directly to libraries, higher education and faculty contacts

In order to be considered for the position of Sales Manager you will be educated to degree level or equivalent with 3-5 years experience within academic publishing/higher education/library sales and fluency in Dutch and/or French. It is essential to have the language skills plus strong communication skills both written/over the phone and in person. Previous negotiation, closing sales deals and problem solving experience is also ideal.
