We are looking for a suitably qualified Science Teacher for an 11-18 mixed comprehensive based in North West London, for a long term post to start in February/March
This post is to start temporary however, as this is a school Key Skills is partnered with we have been assured this can go permanent before the summer break, if the candidate wishes to.
The school has excellent transport links so is easily commutable from in or outside London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Science Teacher to teach motivated students within a school which is well established as one of the borough's leading schools. They offer an innovative curriculum across GCSE and A Level.
Teaching as a Science Teacher at this 11-18 mixed comprehensive you will have a split timetable between Key Stage 3 and 4, teaching streamed sets at Key Stage 4. For the right candidate there will be an opportunity to teach at A Level.
The successfully appointed Science Teacher will join a supportive team of dynamic teachers who have considerably improved results over the last academic years. We are seeking a motivated and innovative Science Teacher who has the ability to complement the progress that has already been achieved.
The ideal candidate should:
* Have at least 1 year's experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 as a qualified Science Teacher and thus be thoroughly familiar with the National Curriculum.
* Be able to commit to a full time position in the long term with a view to permanency
* Have a proven track record of adding value to their students.
* Already be a confident and enthusiastic Science Teacher with the initiative to facilitate the progression of this flourishing department.
