Information Officer - Bristol - Law Firm

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the central Knowledge Team, supporting the supporting the Banking and Financial Services group, based in the firm's Bristol office.
As Information Officer your job role will include:
Undertaking legal and business research to provide support with client matters and business development activities as requested
Being responsible for harvesting know how within the firm, profiling it and promoting the use of the know how system
Working closely with fee earners and support lawyers to provide knowledge management support
As the successful candidate for this Information Officer job role you will have a library/information management qualification at degree level and either a law degree or experience of working in the legal sector
You will also possess excellent written and spoken English, in particular an ability to summarise and analyse large amounts of information, together with the ability to manage demanding workloads with strict deadlines.
Experience of using the LexisNexis and Westlaw databases is highly advantageous.
