Purchase Ledger £18,000 - £20,000

Our client, a manufacturing company in the Temple Meads area are currently looking for a purchase ledger assistant to join their busy finance team. This person will need to have experience of working as a purchase ledger previously in order to insure the smooth running of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using excel to resolve queries and record information in regards to invoices - ensuring that these are overseen and dealt with in a timely manner

  • Sending out invoices on a weekly basis and cross checking invoice codes to branches. Ensuring that sent invoices are authorises to meet payment terms.

  • Manning the email account for the department

  • Dealing with any telephone and email queries for the department

  • Ad hoc duties when required

  • Matching invoices

Personal Skills/Requirements

  • A firm understanding of Purchase Ledger and the role

  • Intermediate Excel ability

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Good with numbers

  • Excellent organisation skills

  • Confident and professional telephone manner

  • Proactive approach to work

  • A team player

Hours of work 8:00 to 17:00
